About the Author
Michael D. Mitchell
(Mike) was born in Riverside, California, July 30, 1940. After
graduating from high school he served eight years in the USAF including a
tour in Vietnam.
He spent the majority of his working career in the
Insurance industry.
Currently living in the Bavarian city of Leavenworth,
Washington, he spends most of his time having fun with his
pet, Cinnamon Von Strudel, a four year old miniature
dachshund. Mike's second book was about his
friend Cinnamon von Strudel. To learn more about

Mike enjoys camping, cycling and fishing. and
is currently working on his third
book which he hopes to complete by the end of 2009.
